The French textile care industry met for the third time at a Texcare Forum on 28 March. the third Texcare Forum France took place, at the Palais de la Bourse, Bordeaux. The event gathered textile care professionals from the south-west region: drycleaners, laundries, launderettes, and so on, as well as national suppliers of products and services.
Messe Frankfurt France chose, once again, to alternate round tables and workshops. Various topics were covered during the round tables: the installation of a washing solution in open-air hotels, regulations of self- service launderettes, training and hiring in dry cleaners, and the environmental impact of industrial laundries.
The workshops allowed the presentation of the new launderettes’ application proposed by the FFPB, the CTTN and Inforum. Electrolux Professional had the opportunity to talk about the current market of self-service laundries in France, while the ANPB provided an overview of the structuring of the drycleaning and laundry market in Algeria.
Many moments of exchange occurred throughout the day, the format provided by Messe Frankfurt France allowing visitors to submit issues directly to solution providers and federations. It was in a professional and warm atmosphere that this third edition of the Texcare Forum took place in Bordeaux, said the organisers. The profession will meet again on Monday 17 October in Lyon.
