With the sad situation continuing in Ukraine, the Textile Services Association (TSA) has been approached by a team of volunteers at 'We Help Ukranians' who are collecting donations to be sent to Ukraine. Anzhela (Angela) is a volunteer who is helping coordinate donations and has asked the TSA to spread the word and enable more donations to be made for some essential items.

Anzhela and her team of volunteers are looking for items such as bed linen, towels and blankets (all in good to reasonable condition) to be donated. Additionally, if anyone has a washer/dryer machine (10kg-15kg) that you are looking to donate/in the process of replacing that would be suitable to use in a hospital or orphanage, they would be extremely appreciative.

The TSA has sent a letter that Anzhela received from a hospital in Ukraine asking for the supplies and how people can help. TSA has  used Google Translate to translate this from Ukrainian to English, so if you would like to have a read please click here (it may not be a perfect translation).

To donate, it is best to get in touch with Anzhela directly. To do so, please send her an email at helpukraineangela@gmail.com or call her on T: 07432 741 803.
