The ABS group, the global supplier of IT solutions to the laundry and textile rental industry, and ABS France have strengthened their presence on the French market by acquiring the activities of ORDEIP.

ABS France has acquired Ordeip's activities, as of April 1, 2017. The operation concerns the software, activities and contracts in progress, as well as the takeover of all Ordeip employees.

The offices of Ordeip near Rouen will continue to operate, in addition to the ABS France head office in Lyon.

ABS France was established in 2015 and has sustained significant growth through winning contracts with several major French laundry organizations.

The ABS Group will continue to focus on expanding its services to the wider French market.

Anne de Boer, founder of the ABS Group and CEO of ABS France said: “Deployed in a significant number of independent laundries and mostly inter-hospital laundries all over France, the PGIO2016 solution developed by Ordeip ideally complements our current offer based on our ABSSolute ERP.”

He added: “This acquisition also allows ABS France to strengthen their team and  improve the quality of services provided to its French clients, in terms of Project Management and integration of solutions."

Ordeip was founded in 1993 in Le Mesnil-Esnard and develops complete computerised textile management solutions, mainly dedicated to inter-hospital laundries.

The two managing partners of Ordeip, Audrey Ledée and Jean-Luc Bertin said: "We are delighted with this opportunity to join the ABS Group, the world leader in industrial laundry business solutions, its development in France and around the world. Within ABS France, our team will now evolve into an international organisation of more than 130 people and use new methods and tools that will directly benefit our customers and contribute to our development.”

From the headquarters in Boxtel, Netherlands, ABS Laundry Business Solutions manages its ABSSolute ERP, which operates at more than 600 industrial laundry sites worldwide.
