Penn Emblem, the specialist in identification, has gained certification for its Mexico plant from WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) the independent, non-profit body dedicated to promoting safe, lawful humane and ethical manufacturing.
WRAP focusses on the apparel, footwear and sewn products sectors and supports its aims with training but mainly through a certification scheme that identifies and monitors companies that follow its 12 guiding principles.
Announcing its success in achieving a WRAP certification, Penn Emblem said its mantra was "Do the right thing. Do things right " and it applies this phrase to all aspects of its business from customer service to production and manufacturing.
