The joint venture was announced in April and at this month’s Texcare International the two companies launched the Hyzone low-temperature ozone disinfection process. Further joint product developments are planned.
British entrepreneur John Laithwaite is best known for establishing JLA in 1973 and growing it into one of the largest distributors before selling the company in 2010.
Talking about the joint venture, Laithwaite said: “I am very excited to be back in the laundry equipment business. I believe this partnership brings together some of the best people in the industry with huge potential for innovation and growth including the development of Hyzone”.
Schneidereit MD Philippe Castaignos added: “This exciting partnership combines Schneidereit with the comprehensive expertise and extensive experience of John Laithwaite and his team.”
