It was a positive outcome for the first revamped regional forum for the French textile care industry, according to organiser Messe Frankfurt France. The first TexcareForum France took place on 27 September at the CCI, Nantes St-Nazaire in a new format bringing together professionals from the Nantes region.
Attendees could gather in the areas where Forum partners presented their equipment, products, services and insurance offerings and throughout the day they attended onferences highlighting the latest industry advances, as well as presentations from sponsoring partners: Inforum, Miele and Electrolux. Textile care specialists also had the opportunity to meet over a networking lunch.
The layout of the spaces, the conference agenda and the networking were conceived to facilitate interactions between the participants and to create a business climate that was both friendly and professional. The Forum was also intended to reactivate exchanges between market players and enable them to identify new opportunities.
It was a successful outcome, if we are to believe the reactions that followed the event, from both partners and participants, said Messe Franfurt France, which quoted responses from delgates such as: "A very enriching day with great encounters"; "Thank you Texcare France for these rich exchanges and the organisation of this event in the regions"; "Long live this new format!”.
The Nantes Forum was the first in a series of regional forums in France. The next edition will take place on Monday, 13 December at the World Trade Center Marseille Provence, and will be followed by new dates and destinations in 2022.
