The Textile Services Association has re-launched its website at The website has been redesigned to reflect the modern textile care industry with features and content for both members and the general public.
A membership directory uses Google Maps and allows consumers to find the nearest drycleaner that belongs to TSA. Each company has a profile in the directory that describes the services they offer, the standards they comply with and the main sales contact.
This directory provides TSA members with a free marketing tool and also a platform for showing the general public which drycleaning businesses follow the TSA Code of Practice.
Content areas include information about the industry sectors, covering the background, innovations and best customer advice. This content also highlights the industry’s commitment to the environment.
TSA members can access a "My Page" profile that allows them to edit company directory details. In addition, members can download documents from the easy to navigate menus.
Members can also register and pay for TSA events directly through the website.
The site was launched at the Special Interest Group meeting on 23 September and was very well received by members.
