The Texprocess Forum (14 to 17 May 2019), which will be held together with Texprocess, the leading international trade fair for processing textile and flexible materials, offers a wide range of topics and technical impetus for textile processors, users and retailers.

On the afternoon of 14 May, VDMA Textile Care, Fabric and Leather Technologies will be investigating the impact of digitisation in the garment and textile processing industry and the extent to which the changes triggered by Industrie 4.0 are already part of the value chain.

Yves- Simon Gloy from Sächsisches Textilforschungsinstitut, Klaus Hecker from VDMA Organic and Printed Electronics Association and Harald Weber from VDMA Plastics and Rubber Machinery Association will discuss this topic. In the second session, Sebastian Bruder from the cutter manufacturer Expert Systemtechnik, Christian Decker from DESMA Schuhmaschinen and Sebastian Feges from EFKA – Frankl & Kirchner, supplier of control and drive technology, will discuss this topic in more detail.

The advancing digitisation of the entire value chain as well as the constantly increasing automation and use of robots in processing textile and flexible materials will also be the main topic at the VDMA Textile Care, Fabric and Leather Technologies’ press conference at Texprocess on 15 May 2019.
