Whirlpool Corporation has announced that it is to begin international shipping of the new Maytag Multi-Load Washer starting in the second quarter of this year, with phased rollouts planned through the rest of this year.
The new machines, available in 20-65 lb capacities, were designed to tackle the industry’s toughest loads in the vended and on-premise laundry (OPL) markets.
Features include intelligent controls that allow operators to determine which detergents and solutions are used during every cycle, and program them to release on-time and with the right proportions based on the load type. With 99 cycle combinations, operators have the flexibility to customise wash cycles to fit a facility’s specific needs.
The flexibility of intelligent controls allows cycles to be priced individually or programmed for time-of-day pricing, maximising revenue potential.
Additional cycle modifiers, including hotter temperatures or additional rinses, can be priced individually to further allow vended store owners the ability to manage profitability. Customers can also select a preferred cycle and option based on individual wash needs.

Whirlpool works with 120 distributors in more than 90 countries and is recruiting distributors to further strengthen its commercial footprint.
