TSA Roadshows launch: ‘We need to talk about laundries’

UKAt its recent conference, the Textile Services Association (TSA) discussed its new inititative to bring the industry together. Everyone involved in the commercial laundry industry, TSA members and non-members alike, is invited to the TSA Roadshow events which will be held in regional cities. The Roadshows are intended to be an informal forum/open evening, where businesses can network and find out about the latest ideas over drinks and a buffet.

Aramark to cast off uniforms in publicly traded spin-off

USAA report published by TRSA, the North America linen rental trade association, in a recent newsletter reveals that plans are afoot to separate Aramark Uniform Services (AUS) into an independent, publicly traded company. The structure of the transaction is intended to be a spin-off that is tax-free to Aramark and its stockholders. The company currently expects the spin-off to occur by the end of fiscal 2023, according to a news release.

Domus invests in factory and products for centenary year

Domus, as it celebrates its 100th year, has staged an exhibition for the export market and its home and South American markets respectively at its newly-expanded facility in Vic, near Barcelona. The event was an opportunity to show visitors new developments that had been developed over the past couple of years as well as a tour of the factory. The exhibition clustered laundry solutions by sector – hospitality OPL, Heathcare OPL, including barrier washers and industrial laundry machines. ExpoDetergo 2022: 160 exhibitors already confirmed for October

One hundred and sixty companies have already enrolled in the ExpoDetergo exhibition dedicated to textile maintenance at Fiera Milano from 21 to 24 October 2022.
