The Association for Linen Management (ALM) announced today that its newly launched trademarked LinenCARE programme has earned the endorsement of TRSA’s Hygienically Clean Certification and the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) – two of the most respected authorities in healthcare laundry standards.

LinenCARE which was introduced yesterday at Clean Show 2025, is a turnkey linen awareness programme designed to help healthcare facilities protect textile quality, reduce preventable waste, and improve handling practices from cart to patient. This endorsement underscores its alignment with the industry’s highest processing and quality standards.

“Hygienically Clean and HLAC standards ensure healthcare textiles leave the laundry in optimal condition,” said Sarah Brobeck, president & CEO of ALM. “LinenCARE bridges the final mile — equipping hospitals with the tools and training to keep that standard intact all the way to the patient. It’s about preserving quality, reducing avoidable loss, and supporting frontline teams with practical, ready-to-use education.”

TRSA President & CEO Joseph Ricci added: “TRSA is pleased to endorse ALM’s LinenCAR programme, which supports our outcomes-based Hygienically Clean Healthcare certification. By working together on initiatives that educate healthcare workers about the importance of reducing waste and improving patient and healthcare personnel safety through the use of Hygienically Clean certified reusable textiles, we are demonstrating the importance of our partnership with the healthcare community.”

HLAC Executive Director, Krissy Thayer commented: “ALM’s program gives healthcare facilities the tools they need to sustain the quality of accredited linen services all the way through the patient care process.”

Healthcare facilities, commercial laundries, and textile vendors can adopt LinenCARE as part of their linen awareness and training strategy. Members of ALM, TRSA, and HLAC are eligible for preferred pricing.

ALM is currently exhibiting at Clean Show 2025, Booth #2759.
