A powerful lineup of commercial laundry solutions from Whirlpool Corporation is being aired at The Clean Show, including a specialty drying cabinet for firefighters’ uniforms and an industrial-strength dryer for on premises laundry (OPL) operations from American Dryer Corp (ADC), a Whirlpool brand, as is Maytag. The ADC firefighter’s turnout gear drying cabinet (ADFG) is purpose-built for fire houses and is designed to safely dry up to six full sets of turnout gear, coats, pants, gloves and boots without tumbling.

With directed airflow, independent dual heating systems and customisable microprocessor controls, it ensures thorough drying while helping preserve the protective qualities of PPE. Optional accessories like glove and boot hangers round out this essential station support tool.

The phase-7 microprocessor takes the guesswork out of drying: ADC was the first company to develop a microprocessor for commercial and industrial dryers and the phase-7, one touch micro, incorporates the same technology making drying simple and error-free. With six factory presets and the ability to add and modify additional cycles, one touch is all it takes. Depending on the number of items, the micro can be set to dry for up to four hours. Simply press the button and walk away.

Designed to hold up to six sets of gear, the unique airflow pattern is delivered using two separate blowers and ensures that warm air penetrates even the tightest areas. Boots and gloves are provided with individual hangers making sure no residual moisture is left in the equipment. A sturdy shelf and hose hangers are also available to fit inside the cabinet.

Meanwhile, the AD-210 industrial dryer has been engineered for high-volume OPL in hospitality, healthcare and beyond, offering, said Whirlpool, durable construction, a 14-gauge stainless-steel basket, self-cleaning blower system and advanced airflow technology for faster drying and fewer maintenance concerns. With flexible configuration options and gas or steam heat, this dryer meets the demands of busy OPL environments head-on, said the company.
