Commercial laundry and dishwashing solutions manufacturer Miele Professional has appointed Ela Hedges as business development manager for Great Britain and Ireland. The appointment forms part of Miele Professional’s strategic expansion plans that aim to strengthen partnerships and drive growth across key commercial sectors. Hedges’ role plays a key part in this growth, enabling enhanced partnerships for Miele customers prioritising sustainability and operational efficiencies.
Hedges has more than three years of experience within Miele, previously serving as multi-site retail manager in the domestic sales division. Hedges’ experience includes working closely with architects, interior designers and kitchen specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions, as well as developing strategic initiatives that elevate customer engagement.
In her new position, Hedges will focus on expanding Miele’s presence in hospitality, care, leisure and student accommodation markets while supporting existing partnerships across Great Britain and Ireland.

Hedges will work alongside Miele Professional’s national and business account managers to identify new opportunities and develop targeted strategies across sectors including premium gyms, spas, boutique hospitality and healthcare facilities.
The appointment comes as businesses across these sectors increasingly prioritise sustainable, intelligent solutions that can adapt to evolving operational demands whilst delivering long-term cost savings.
