Maxi-Press is expanding its international presence with the establishment of Maxi-Press DRM, teaming up with DRM Industrial Fabrics in the United Kingdom. The move became effective from 1 October. With this new company, Maxi-Press is creating a strong foundation for its UK customers while setting the course for further growth in the European market.

As a German company, Maxi-Press had previously managed deliveries from continental Europe, which sometimes involved lengthy customs procedures. With the new UK-based subsidiary with own warehouse, customers will now benefit from faster deliveries and improved service thanks to simplified logistics and reduced border complexities.

The well-established brand DRM Industrial Fabrics has been a trusted partner of the British laundry industry for many years. Known for its strong focus on service and customer care, DRM has earned a solid reputation among numerous laundries across the UK. By becoming part of the Maxi-Press Group, this profile will be further strengthened.

DRM customers will continue to rely on their familiar contacts and services, while also benefiting from the expanded resources, innovation, and global network of Maxi-Press. Over the coming years, the DRM brand will gradually be integrated into the international Maxi-Press brand, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining continuity for customers.

To ensure leadership continuity, Paul Crookes, who has served as DRM’s UK sales manager for many years, has been appointed managing director of the new company. With his extensive market knowledge and close relationships with customers, he ensures a seamless transition. Crookes explained: “DRM has always stood for customer proximity and reliability. By joining Maxi-Press, we can live up to this promise even more strongly: we remain the trusted partner customers have known for years, while offering them the strength and innovative power of an international group.”

Maxi-Press was founded in 2004 by Tim Zaiser, who continues to lead the company today as CEO. Under his direction, the business has grown from a German specialist for water extraction membranes into a globally respected supplier for the laundry industry. Reflecting on this development, Zaiser said: “From the very beginning, Maxi-Press was never just about parts. It was about giving laundries around the world the tools to perform at their very best. With the establishment of Maxi-Press DRM Ltd., we are continuing this vision in the UK, ensuring that our customers benefit from the same commitment to quality, innovation, and service that drives us globally.”

The establishment of Maxi-Press DRM represents the next step in this success story. In addition to its headquarters in Germany, the company already operates subsidiaries in the USA, Australia, Thailand, and China. With this new presence in the United Kingdom, the group further expands its international footprint within the framework of the Jensen-Group.
