Snow White Laundries is the latest textile care company to expand its employee wellbeing services with the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust. (FTCT) The new partnership was officially launched at the laundry’s Cardiff site, earlier in October, where staff who are parents and carers were encouraged to find out about the support they can access.

Matt Guy, operations manager at Snow White, pictured left, who spearheads the partnership and led coordination for the launch, was pleased with how successful the day was. Guy commented: “FTCT is an excellent charity for our sector and a fantastic service to be able to offer our people.”

As the only UK charity dedicated to supporting parents working in the fashion and textile industry, in the past five years, FTCT has awarded more than £33,000 in grants to families in the textile care industry, through its work with 16 textile care organisations.

FTCT grants help industry families afford essentials at home, like children’s clothing, essential appliances and bedroom furniture, supporting the Trust’s belief that when basic needs are met at home, it creates benefits for families, employers, and the industry as a whole.
