Girbau, fresh from presenting its latest innovations at the EXPODetergo international trade show in Milan last month spoke about the ‘Positive Impact’ its solutions had on visitors to its stand. The ‘Positive Impact’ message underlined Girbau’s firm commitment to sustainability, working for people and the planet. Among the new products showcased was the efficient EDD double tumble dryer which appeared for the first time, as well as the innovative GENIUS series of washers and dryers aimed at the OPL sector, the Sapphire digital services platform and other solutions for the professional laundry industry.
During the fair, the company held presentations and workshops, and provided professional advice in its fully interactive booth The stand itself was equipped with three thematic spaces and sustainable technology, as well as a videowall that showed the new products. Furthermore, during the four days of the fair, the company’s experts provided advice to visitors.
Aimed at the OPL industry, Girbau counted on the presence of its GENIUS series,‘Beyond excellence, there’s Genius’, a range of smart and sustainable laundry machines turning the complexity of laundry into simple, easy and intuitive processes. Focusing on sustainability, it is the most efficient and sustainable range on the market, said Gribau, thanks to its programmable spin speeds with a G-factor of 450 that remove more moisture and reduce energy consumption by up to 15%. “In addition, the series also features a weighing system to optimise water and chemical product consumption and is equipped with the most advanced connectivity.”

Girbau also presented innovations related to the industrial sector, with solutions such as the DRE range of feeders, versatile equipment that offers precision, speed and quality and is capable of increasing production per loading station; or the FTQ towel folder, fully adaptable thanks to its multiple configurations and equipped with the company's intelligent system. In this way, users had the opportunity to see first-hand how these proposals work and their future impact on their businesses.
Each day, Girbau held five presentations from company experts on various topics, such as the GENIUS series, the Sapphire intelligent platform,w etcleaning, as well as news and trends in the professional laundry sector and all of them were well attended, reported Girbau. Additionally, a magician added dynamism and interaction on the stand.
